Catania - Palermo

Cesena - Fiorentina

03.04. (Sun) 21:00 Osasuna - Atletico Madrid

DID YOU KNOW?

* Osasuna have the joint fourth best defensive record in La Liga. They also have conceded only 0.5 goals per game at home, which is the second best defence at home, only behind Real Madrid.

* Osasuna have not lost in their last 5 home games and have lost only once at home during this entire campaign: to Barcelona by three goals. This defeat was also their biggest defeat in this season.

* Only in one match in their last 10 encounters, have both the teams failed to score.

* Osasuna have scored eight league goals in last three match-days and they have been scored by seven different players, with Sola chipping in with a brace.

* Their new coach Mendilibar has turned things around, with his charges grabbing 13 points out of last 18.

* Nelson and Vadócz, both are now available, with the possibility of Pandiani also featuring at some point. On the flip side, Aranda and Rupert have been left out of the squad.

* Atletico Madrid are on a horrid run at the moment with only two victories out of their last 10 games. This has seen their Champions league dreams extinguished, with only a Europa league spot to aim for.

* Quique Sanchez Flores is rumoured to be sacked, if he is unable to turn around things quickly.

* At Reyno De Navarra, Atletico have scored only three goals in their last five visits and only one goal in their last three visits.

* Heading into this weekend's fixtures, Atletico are eighth in the standings, three points behind sixth-placed Athletic Bilbao.

* Atletico have their entire squad available apart from Sergio ‘Kun’ Aguero who is suspended for the fixture. Fran Merida had an injury scare, but it is expected that he will be available for this match.

LAST MEETING

November 13, 2010: Atletico 3-0 Osasuna
The last time these two sides met, Forlan was in midst of a dry spell. However, he ended it in impressive style by scoring a brace and helping "The Mattress Makers" to a comfortable 3-0 victory over Osasuna.

PROBABLE LINE-UPS

Osasuna: Ricardo; Lolo; Miguel Flaño; Nacho Monreal; Nélson; Javad Nekounam; Francisco Puñal; Kike Sola; Fernando Soriano; Javier Camuñas; Masoud Shojaei

Atletico Madrid: David De Gea; Alvaro Dominguez Soto; Diego Godín; Filipe Kasmirski; Tomas Ujfalusi; Tiago; Mario Suárez; Elias; José Antonio Reyes; Diego Forlán; JuanFran

Prediction
Atletico are a team in trouble and their off field shenanigans has not helped them either. Osasuna have lost at home only once and that too to Barcelona. Atleti's away record at Osasuna is not great either. With "Kun" suspended, it difficult to see anything but a Osasuna victory.

Osasuna 2-0 Atletico Madrid

03.04. (Sun) 21:00 Racing Lens - Olympique Marseille

DID YOU KNOW?

* Racing Club de Lens currently sit in the relegation zone, five points from safety.

* Issam Jomaa is their top scorer this season with five goals, including one in last week's 1-4 away victory against Montpellier.

* Lens have won only one of their last eight league matches.

* They have conceded 42 league goals this season - only Arles-Avignon have a worse defensive record.

* If Lens lose to Marseille on Sunday, it will be their worst home run since the 1996/7 season.

* However, of the 29 meetings between the two sides in Ligue 1 history, Lens have claimed all three points on 12 occasions, while Olympique de Marseille have emerged victorious 10 times.

* In their last seven encounters at the Stade Felix Bollaert in all competitions, Marseille have failed to record a victory.

* Nonetheless, their current form is the best in Ligue 1, having won six of their last seven league matches.

* 20% of Marseille's goals this season have come after the 80th minute.

* Marseille have conceded only 12 goals on their travels this season, the fewest in Ligue 1.

LAST MEETING

November 13, 2010: Olympique de Marseille 1-1 Racing Club de Lens

Although leading 1-0 at half-time through a Stephane M'Bia header, Marseille missed the opportunity to compensate for their defeat at Paris Saint-Germain the previous week, conceding the equaliser shortly before the hour as Eduardo smashed home a half-volley.

PROBABLE LINE-UPS

Racing Club de Lens: Runje; Aurier, Varane, Yahia, Toure, Bedimo; Hermach, Akale, Roudet; Jomaa, Eduoardo. RC Lens

Olympique de Marseille: Mandanda; Fanni, M'Bia, Heinze, Taiwo; Cheyrou, Gonzalez, Cisse; A. Ayew, Remy, Gignac.

Prediction
Although Lens should be encouraged by an impressive 1-4 victory at Montpellier last week, Sunday's encounter will prove a far greater challenge. An in-form Marseille side should comfortably leave the Stade Felix Bollaert with all three points.

RC Lens 0-2 Marseille

03.04. (Sun) 20:45 Roma - Juventus

DID YOU KNOW?

* Roma have picked up just one win in their last 11 meetings with Juventus in Serie A.

* The Giallorossi have yet to taste defeat in the league since Vincenzo Montella took charge in late February (W3, D2).

* Roma have only lost one match at home this season.

* Francesco Totti surpassed the 200-goal mark in Serie A in the 2-2 draw with Fiorentina on March 20.

* The Lupi have been awarded a penalty in each of their last four league matches.

* Juventus have picked up only one win in their last five games away from home.

* Giorgio Chiellini will miss the match through injury.

* The Bianconeri snapped a four-game winless skid with a victory over Brescia last round.

* Juve have recorded four wins since the winter break.

* Alessandro Matri has five goals in eight games since joining the club in the winter transfer window.

LAST MEETING

November 13, 2010: Juventus 1-1 Roma

Juventus and Roma battled to an entertaining 1-1 draw in Turin. Vincenzo Iaquinta sent the home fans into raptures with a goal in the 35th minute before Francesco Totti brought the Bianconeri faithful back to earth with a penalty just before the half-time interval.

PROBABLE LINE-UPS

Roma: Doni; Burdisso, Mexes, Juan, Riise; Pizarro, De Rossi; Taddei, Perrotta, Vucinic; Totti

Juventus: Buffon; Sorensen, Bonucci, Barzagli, Traore; Krasic, Melo, Aquilani, Marchisio; Matri, Toni

Prediction
Juve have an excellent track record against Roma and despite their injury woes might be able to spring a surprise in the Eternal City. The Lupi are undefeated with Vincenzo Montella at the helm and will be looking to heap more misery on the Bianconeri.
The two teams battled to a score draw in their first encounter and another stalemate is likely on the cards.
Roma 2-2 Juventus

03.04. (Sun) 19:00 Sevilla - Zaragoza

DID YOU KNOW?
* Zaragoza are now just a point clear of the bottom three, after 1-0 defeat at Mallorca before the international break.
* Real Zaragoza have only won one league away match this season (1-2 at Malaga).
* Real Zaragoza scored only 28 goals this season, which is the third worst scoring record, held jointly by three teams.
* They have scored only seven goals away from home and only three goals in their last seven away outings.
* Edmilson is doubtful for Zaragoza.
* Sevilla are unbeaten in their last 5 games. Sevilla have a better away record than a home record.
* Also, Sevilla have scored at an average of 4 goals per game in their last 3 home meetings with Zaragoza.
* Sevilla tend to leave it late when it comes to scoring goals. They have scored 19 goals out of 43 (almost 50%) in last 30 minutes.
* Just 36% of the games refereed by Iglesias Villanueva this season have ended in home wins, fewer than any other referee
* Arouna Kone is nearing a return for Sevilla but is unlikely to be risked following a long spell on the sidelines.

LAST MEETING

November 14, 2010: Real Zaragoza 1-2 Sevilla

The last time these sides met, it was a fairly tepid affair, with neither side creating many chances. Sevilla had been reduced to 10 men and they looked certain to drop points. However, Negredo scored just at the death, securing all 3 points for "Los Rojiblancos"

PROBABLE LINE-UPS

Sevilla: Javi Varas; Julien Escudé; Federico Fazio; Matrin Caceres; Alexis; Ivan Rakitic; Gary Medel; Diego Perotti; Jesús Navas; Álvaro Negredo; Frederic Kanouté

Real Zaragoza: Antonio Doblas; Matteo Contini; Jirí Jarosik; Ivan Obradovic; Carlos Diogo; Gabi; Leonardo Ponzio; Ikechukwu Uche; Ander Herrera; Nicolàs Bertolo; Jorge López;

Prediction
Zaragoza are a side who have shipped an average of four goals in their last three visits to this stadium and have won just one match on road this season. Combine this with Sevilla's excellent displays against Barcelona and Valencia, it difficult to see anything but a goal fest for the Andalusians.

Sevilla 3-0 Zaragoza

03.04. (Sun) 17:00 Manchester City - Sunderland

DID YOU KNOW?

* Manchester City have not conceded a goal at Eastlands since February 27 in their 1-1 draw with Fulham.

* Sunderland have failed to score in their last three games. They were shut out against Everton, Arsenal and in their last outing at home to Liverpool.

* Neither side have played for exactly a fortnight. Players from both sides were involved in international games during the break though.

* Sunderland have struggled away from Wearside all season. In 15 league games they have managed 15 goals. The form book suggests that will not change here as City have given up a miserly 11 goals in their 15 home league games.

* With the departure of Darren Bent went a true goal scoring threat for Sunderland. The weight has been transferred to the shoulders of Asamoah Gyan who has nine, and on-loan Danny Welbeck, who has picked up six goals so far this term. Gyan scored for Ghana at Wembley last Tuesday.

* These teams have met frequently over the years - 119 times in fact - City holding the advantage with 55 victories to Sunderland’s 44. Sunderland’s last win at Manchester City was in the old Division One back in January 1998. The game, played at Maine Road, was decided by a Kevin Phillips winner, with former City favourite and current Sunderland chairman, Niall Quinn partnering Phillips. Also on show that day were illustrious names from City’s past such as Georgi Kinkladze and Uwe Rosler.

* The meeting between these two back in August finished amid much controversy. A Darren Bent penalty in the last minute was all that separated the two.

* Mario Balotelli’s City career has been far from uneventful. He continues to make headlines for the wrong reasons, but the fact remains that he is the second highest scorer for Mancini’s men. Skipper Carlos Tevez leads the way with 24 goals, and the young Italian is second on 10.

* This game last year was eventful for more than just the result. The game finished 4-3 but the day also marked the end of the Mark Hughes era in east Manchester. Mancini was brought in to ensure the club qualify for the Champions League; should they lose here that could be in jeopardy.

LAST MEETING

August 29 2010: Sunderland 1-0 Manchester City

Controversial circumstances were the deciding factor with a last-minute penalty converted by Darren Bent, now at Aston Villa, giving the Black Cats all three points.

PROBABLE LINE-UPS

Manchester City: Hart; Zabaleta, Kompany, Lescott, Kolarov; Milner, Y Toure, De Jong, Silva; Balotelli, Dzeko.

Sunderland: Mignolet; Bramble, Ferdinand, Da Silva, Angeleri; El Muhamady, Muntari, Richardson, Sessegnon, Cattermole; Welbeck.

Prediction
The Black Cats have struggled to score of late. They will find little relief here. The Citizens are keen goal scorers at home and this trait will prove the difference here. It should be a regulation home win with the firepower of City proving an overwhelming force which Sunderland will not be able to resist.

Man City 2-0 Sunderland

Bari then squandered a glorious chance to equalise just before the half-time interval when Alessandro Parisi sent his spot-kick wide of the target. Bari had two men sent off in the second session and Parma left town with all three points in the bag.

PROBABLE LINE-UPS

Parma: Mirante; Paletta, Lucarelli, Pisano; Zaccardo, Morrone, Gobbi, Modesto; Candreva; Bojinov, Amauri

Bari: Gillet; A.Masiello, Glik, Belmonte, Rossi; Almiron, Gazzi, Bentivoglio; Huseklepp, Ghezzal; Rudolf

Prediction
Parma beat Bari earlier in the season and should have no problem pouring more misery on the Serie A strugglers at the Ennio Tardini on Sunday.

Udinese: Handanovic; Benatia, Zapata, Domizzi; Isla, Abdi, Inler, Asamoah, Armero; Di Natale, Sanchez

Prediction
Udinese are currently riding a 13-game unbeaten streak and should extend their run with a win over Lecce at the weekend. The Zebrette punished the Salentini 4-0 in the first meeting of the season and should have no problems picking up the win on Sunday.
Lecce 1-2 Udinese

* Samp have been outscored 7-2 in their last five matches.

LAST MEETING

November 14, 2010: Sampdoria 0-0 Chievo

Sampdoria struggled to break down the Flying Donkeys at the Luigi Ferraris. Chances were few and far between as both teams had to be content with a scoreless draw.

PROBABLE LINE-UPS

Chievo: Sorrentino; Sardo, Andreolli, Cesar, Mantovani; Fernandes, Guana, Constant; Bogliacino; Pellissier, Moscardelli

Sampdoria: Curci; Zauri, Gastaldello, Lucchini, Martinez; Mannini, Palombo, Poli, Ziegler; Guberti; Maccarone

Prediction
Recent history tells us this match will end in a 1-1 draw in Verona. Chievo picked up a huge win last round while Samp are struggling big time. Each team will be satisfied with a share of the spoils on Sunday.
Chievo 1-1 Sampdoria

* Massimo Ficcadenti’s side have registered just two victories in their last 13 Serie A matches, losing six of them.

LAST MEETING

November 13, 2010: Fiorentina 1-0 Cesena

Fiorentina won the reverse fixture at home. Italy international striker Alberto Gilardino’s goal a minute before the hour mark proved to be the difference between the two teams.

Fiorentina: Boruc; De Silvestri, Gamberini, Natali, Pasqual; Santana, Donadel, Vargas; Montolivo; Gilardino, Mutu

Prediction
Fiorentina have grown in confidence and have also won away from home in the league. A win in Cesena is not out of question and the Viola could just about nick maximum points.

03.04. (Sun) 15:00 Catania - Palermo

DID YOU KNOW?

* Catania are currently placed 15th in the Serie A standings with 32 points from 30 matches, just four more than third-from-bottom Lecce.

* The Etnei have won four of the 13 Sicilian derbies against Palermo.

* Diego Simeone’s side have alternatively won and lost their last seven matches in the league. If that pattern is to continue this weekend, then Catania should win the derby.

* Palermo are eighth in the league table with 43 points from 30 matches, seven points behind sixth-placed Roma.

* The Rosanero’s 1-0 win against Milan before the international break brought to an end to their five-match losing streak in Serie A.

* Serse Cosmi’s side have lost their last three away matches in the league and have failed to score in any of them.

LAST MEETING

November 14, 2010: Palermo 3-1 Catania

Palermo registered a comprehensive victory over Catania in the reverse fixture earlier this season. A Javier Pastore hat-trick, his first and so far only in the league, secured the points for the Aquile. Christian Terlizzi was on target for Catania.

PROBABLE LINE-UPS

Catania: Andujar; Alvarez, Silvestre, Spolli, Marchese; Carboni, Lodi; Schelotto, Ricchiuti, Bergessio; Maxi Lopez

03.04. (Sun) 14:30 Fulham - Blackpool

DID YOU KNOW?

* The game will be the 100th league meeting between Fulham and Blackpool.

* The Seasiders have won just one of their last 10 league encounters.

* Ian Holloway’s side haven’t fared so well with trips down to the capital this year, drawing one and losing two with an overall goal difference of minus 10.

* The rather generous Blackpool defence have afforded their opponents 199 shots on target this season – a Premier League high.

* Not to be outdone at the other end, they’ve netted 45 times themselves, making them the Premier League’s fourth highest scorers.

* Blackpool are certainly giving their fans value for money, with the combined total of goals in their games this season now reaching 100.

* Fulham, on the other hand, are slightly less schizophrenic, recording 14 Premier League draws this season – the highest in the division.

* To further cement that reputation, they have a goal difference of zero - scoring 33 but letting the same amount in.

* The Cottagers harbour an unbeaten home record at Craven Cottage in 2011, winning four and drawing one since the turn of the year.

* If Fulham take the lead at half-time, they hold out – notching four wins and two draws from half-time leads so far this season.

LAST MEETING

August 28, 2010: Blackpool 2-2 Fulham

A late Dickson Etuhu equaliser at Bloomfield Road denied the Tangerines their first ever Premier League win.

PROBABLE LINE-UPS

Fulham: Schwarzer; Kelly, Hangeland, Baird, Salcido; Murphy, Dempsey, Etuhu, Duff; Johnson, Dembele.

Blackpool: Kingson; Crainey, Baptiste, Evatt, Eardley; Puncheon, Adam, Vaughan; Reid, Taylor-Fletcher, Varney.

Prediction
Despite Blackpool’s nature as one of the Premier League’s great entertainers, I think they will find it hard to break down a Fulham side that have become very pragmatic home performers. I can see Charlie Adam being stifled, thrills and spills being at a premium and the hosts just edging it.

Fulham 1-0 Blackpool

* The Azzurri have already equaled their record point-tally in Serie A. Last season they mustered 59 from 38 matches.

* Lazio are fifth in the league standings and have collected 54 points from 30 matches, two points behind fourth-placed Udinese.

* The Aquile have not lost in their four encounters with Napoli in the league.

* Lazio have not won the Scudetto since 2000.

LAST MEETING

November 14, 2010: Lazio 2-0 Napoli

Lazio registered a 2-0 victory over Napoli at the Stadio Olimpico. Mauro Zarate gave the Aquile the lead after 15 minutes and a minute after the hour mark Sergio Floccari netted his side’s second.

PROBABLE LINE-UPS

Napoli: De Sanctis; Campagnaro, Cannavaro, Aronica; Maggio, Pazienza, Yebda, Dossena; Hamsik; Lavezzi, Cavani

Lazio: Muslera; Lichtsteiner, Biava, Dias, Garrido; Gonzalez, Brocchi, Mauri; Hernanes; Zarate, Sculli

Prediction
Napoli have a strong record at home and against Lazio they will be confident of stretching that run and garnering maximum points against the Aquile.

Napoli 2-1 Lazio
