15.05. (Sun) 21:00 Barcelona - Dep. La Coruna

DID YOU KNOW?

* Barcelona clinched their 21st La Liga title in midweek, their third in a row. Guardiola has a 100 per cent record in league titles since taking over as first team coach.

* The last team to take any points from Camp Nou was Mallorca on October 3. Since then, Barca have won their last 15 home league games in a row.

* Lionel Messi has scored 31 La Liga goals so far this season, the same exact amount as Deportivo going into Matchday 37.

* The Catalan giants have won seven out of their last 10 meetings with their opponents this Sunday.

* Deportivo enter the round in 16th place in the table, just three points clear of the relegation zone.

* The Galicians were last in the Segunda Division in 1990/91. They have not been relegated since winning promotion that season.

* Depor have won more times at Camp Nou (three) than any other team in La Liga since the turn of the century.

* However, Lotina's side have won just one away game in the league in the whole of 2011.

PROBABLE LINE-UPS

Barcelona (4-3-3)
Valdes; Alves, Pique, Fontas, Abidal; Thiago, Mascherano, Keita; Pedro, Villa, Afellay

Coach Pep Guardiola looks set to rest his key figures and he has also hinted that he will give his players who have yet to regain full fitness after recent injuries a run-out in the last two league games of the season. However, Adriano and Gaby Milito are still recovering from their respective muscle injuries, while Carles Puyol has yet to rejoin team training. Maxwell is out for the rest of the season.

Deportivo (4-2-3-1)
Aranzubia; Laure, Colotto, Lopo, Manuel Pablo; Aythami, Ruben Perez; Adrian, Valeron, Guardado; Riki

Midfielder Juan Rodriguez is doubtful after picking up a knock in midweek. If he fails to recover Aythami will start alongside Ruber Perez as the double pivot. Coach Miguel Angel Lotina is also waiting on the fitness of Andres Guardado, Adrian Lopez and Manuel Pablo. Ze Castro and Antonio Tomas are certain absentees.

Prediction
Newly-crowned 2010-11 La Liga champions Barcelona will parade onto the Camp Nou turf to ensure that their home fans are able to celebrate their title success with a win. But Deportivo, just three points clear of the relegation zone, will fight to the death to save themselves as well as spoil Barca's party. The Galicians are expected to form an ultra-defensive barrier to leave Catalunya with as many points as possible, and it's up to Guardiola's champions to supply the entertainment.

Barcelona 1-1 Deportivo

15.05. (Sun) 21:00 Villarreal - Real

DID YOU KNOW?

* Villarreal have secured a place in next season's Champions League play-offs. If they qualify for the tournament-proper, it will be their third season in the competition.

* Juan Carlos Garrido's men have won just three of their last 10 league games.

* The Yellow Submarine have only ever emerged victorious in two of their 23 meetings with Madrid in La Liga.

* Villarreal's leading goalscorer this season is Giuseppe Rossi with 18 goals. Their leading assist man is Santi Cazorla with 10 assists.

* Real Madrid will finish second in La Liga this season, but they will not be able to match their points tally (96) from last term. They are also 11 goals shy of their 102-goal haul under Manuel Pellegrini.

* Los Blancos have won their last five away league matches, including two six-goal wins in succession.

* Cristiano Ronaldo has scored six of the 12 hat-tricks in La Liga this season. One of them was against Villarreal earlier in the season.

* Ronaldo only needs three more goals to break the all-time Pichichi record of 38 goals in a single season.

PROBABLE LINE-UPS

Villarreal (4-4-2)
Diego Lopez; Mario, Musacchio, Marchena, Capdevila; Valero, Bruno, Senna, Cazorla; Nilmar, Rossi

Gonzalo, Xavi Olivia and Angel Lopez are Villarreal's three long-term injury casualties. Juan Carlos Garrido has no other concerns, with veteran midfielder Marcos Senna expected to keep his place in the starting XI after having just returned from his own lengthy lay-off.

Real Madrid (4-2-3-1)
Adan; Sergio Ramos, Pepe, Carvalho, Marcelo; Alonso, Lass; Di Maria, Ozil, Ronaldo; Higuain

Sergio Ramos returns from suspension while Kaka is expected to also be recalled to the matchday squad after being rested in midweek against Getafe to nurse a muscle strain. Sami Khedira has recovered from his leg injury but it is yet to be determined if he is match fit to play any part against Villarreal.

Prediction
Real Madrid have nothing to play for after settling for second-place following Barcelona's La Liga triumph in midweek. Villarreal have safely booked their place in the Champions League play-offs, but they are stil mathematically in the running to snatch automatic qualification from Valencia. Only a win and a hope of a Los Che defeat will do, however. Jose Mourinho's men will be running low on motivation, but the Yellow Sub are not in the best of form to take advantage.

Villarreal 2-2 Real Madrid

15.05. (Sun) 21:00 Boca Juniors - River Plate

DID YOU KNOW?

* Boca Juniors hold the edge in this derby fixture, having won 68 clasicos in the Primera to River Plate's 62. The difference is wider in all competitions, with the Xeneixe holding an advantage of 16 games.

* The last encounter though belonged to the Millo, who triumphed thanks to a goal from Boca old-boy Jonathan Maidana

* Boca are four games unbeaten after an awful start to the season, and currently lie 10th in the Clausura.

* Riquelme is the club's top scorer, with four goals in eight appearances.

* The Xeneixe's home form has been the main achilles heel in 2011; just one game from six has been won in the Bombonera.

* Despite this however the team have an outside chance of making the Copa Sudamericana, currently five points off the final qualifiers Racing and Lanus.

* River meanwhile are fighting in the top reaches of the Clausura, five points off leaders Velez in fourth place.

* At the same time the Millo must also avoid relegation, as a defeat against Boca coupled with Olimpo victory would drop the team down into the promocion playoff places.

* A lack of goals has hampered the side's two-pronged battle, as they have hit the net just 11 times in 13 games. Four of those have come from top scorer Mariano Pavone.

* One encouragement for JJ Lopez's side is their excellent away record. In six clashes out of the Monumental, they have won three and drawn three without a single defeat.

PROBABLE LINE-UPS

Boca Juniors (4-3-1-2)
Lucchetti; C. Rodriguez, Caruzzo, Insaurralde, L. Monzon; Colazo, Somoza, C.Chavez; Riquelme; Mouche, Palermo.

Boca are boosted by the news that Juan Roman Riquelme will make the first team, despite last week's injury scare against Argentinos Juniors. Coach Julio Falcioni therefore repeats the XI which triumphed in La Paternal.

River Plate (3-4-1-2/ 3-4-2-1)
Carrizo; Ferrero, Maidana, Roman; Ferrari, Almeyda, Acevedo, J.M Diaz; Lamela; Funes Mori/ Lanzini, Pavone.

Coach Juan Jose Lopez has just one doubt ahead of Sunday, with youngsters Rogelio Funes Mori and Manuel Lanzini fighting it out for the final place in the Millo starting XI

Prediction
Boca Juniors  1-0 River Plate

15.05. (Sun) 20:45 Napoli - Inter

DID YOU KNOW?

* Napoli have lost three out of their last four games.

* The Azzurri have lost two out of their last three Serie A matches against Inter.

* Walter Mazzarri's men have lost only once in their last 14 home games.

* Napoli have scored 21 goals in the last 15 minutes of play this season.

* Inter are currently riding a three-game winning streak.

* The Nerazzurri have been held scoreless in their last four trips to the San Paolo.

* Leonardo's men have picked up only one win in their last four matches away from San Siro.

* Inter have scored 45 goals at home but only 20 on the road.

PROBABLE LINE-UPS

Napoli (3-4-2-1)
De Sanctis; Campagnaro, Cannavaro, Ruiz; Maggio, Gargano, Yebda, Dossena; Zuniga, Hamsik, Lavezzi

Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri will be missing his top goalscorer Edinson Cavani who is suspended. Giuseppe Mascara is also banned and will miss the crunch clash.

Inter (4-4-2)
Julio Cesar; Maicon, Lucio, Ranocchia, Chivu; Zanetti, Cambiasso, Kharja, Coutinho; Eto'o, Pazzini

Wesley Sneijder is still nursing a thigh injury and won't be available on Sunday while Dejan Stankovic is likely to miss out as well.

Prediction
Inter can clinch second place with a draw on Sunday against Napoli. The Nerazzurri have been less than impressive on their road travels but will do enough to earn a share of the spoils at the San Paolo.
Napoli 1-1 Inter Milan

15.05. (Sun) 17:00 Wigan Athletic - West Ham United

DID YOU KNOW?

* If West Ham (33 points) lose on Sunday, they will be unable to catch 17th placed Wolverhampton Wanderers (37 points) and will be relegated to the Championship.

* If West Ham beat Wigan, Blackpool fail to win and Wolves, Birmingham City and Blackburn Rovers all lose, then Wigan and West Ham will be two of six teams fighting for survival in the final game of the season.

* In 17 meetings in all competitions, Wigan have won five, West Ham have won 10 and there have been two draws.

* West Ham's 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers last weekend ended a run of five consecutive league losses.

* Wigan's last four league games have produced an aggregate score of 7-7.

PROBABLE LINE-UPS

Wigan Athletic (4-3-3)
Al Habsi; Boyce, G Caldwell, Alcaraz, Figueroa; McCarthy, Watson, Diame; Cleverley, Rodallega, N'Zogbia.

Latics' boss Roberto Martinez will have his fingers crossed that midfield battler Mohamed Diame passes a late fitness test. If the Frenchman returns to the starting side, expect Tom Cleverley to revert back to his position as part of a front-three with Hugo Rodallega and Charles N'Zogbia.

West Ham United (4-4-2)
Green; Jacobsen, Tomkins, Upson, Bridge; Sears, Hitzlsperger, Spector, Boa Morte; Ba, Cole.

Hammers manager Avram Grant will have his fingers crossed that talisman Scott Parker will be available after a damaging absence with an Achilles injury. The spine of the struggling side will further be improved if first choice centre-back pair Matthew Upson and James Tomkins also return from their spells on the sidelines.

Prediction
The sides are separated by one place and a crucial three points. Parker's return should be enough to see the gap levelled.

Wigan Athletic 1-2 West Ham

15.05. (Sun) 17:00 Liverpool - Tottenham Hotspur

DID YOU KNOW?

* If the Premier League began when Kenny Dalglish took over at Anfield, Liverpool would be sat in 2nd with the strongest goal difference in the league.

* The Reds have secured more 3-0 victories in the Premier League than any other team this season, achieving that result five times.

* Dirk Kuyt has found the back of the net nine times in his last eight games.

* Maxi Rodriguez hadn’t scored in nearly six months before hitting the back of the net seven times in his last three games.

* Dalglish’s men have won more games by three goals or more than any other team in the league, having done so seven times. Spurs have yet to achieve such a feat.

* Tottenham have only picked up one win in their last 13 matches in all competitions.

* The White Hart Lane outfit haven’t achieved a league double over Liverpool since the 1986-87 season when they secured two 1-0 wins over the Reds.

* The visitors have scored 12 goals from outside the area this term, more than any other team.

* Having won 2-1 seven times in the Premier League this team, Redknapp’s men have picked up the result more than any other team in the division.

PROBABLE LINE-UPS

Liverpool (4-4-2)
Reina; Flanagan, Skrtel, Carragher, Johnson; Maxi, Spearing, Lucas, Shelvey; Kuyt, Suarez.

Liverpool look set to line up with the same team that hammered Fulham at Craven Cottage on Monday evening, with Kenny Dalglish unlikely to tinker with a team in such fine form.

Andy Carroll will be hoping for some more minutes off the bench as he continues his recovery from a thigh injury and there may even be a return to the squad for Martin Kelly, with the youngster having been out since February with hamstring trouble picked up in the Reds’ defeat at West Ham.

Tottenham (4-4-1-1)
Cudicini; Corluka, King, Dawson, Rose; Lennon, Sandro, Pienaar, Modric; Van der Vaart; Defoe.

Jermaine Jenas could return to the Spurs squad having picked up a thigh injury in last week’s draw against Blackpool but Harry Redknapp will have to make some changes to the side that faced Manchester City because of injuries and possibly also tactics.

Gareth Bale, Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Tom Huddlestone look to be out for the rest of the season while Wilson Palacios and William Gallas were injured against City and will miss out, which could give Steven Pienaar and Ledley King starts. Alan Hutton is ruled out at Anfield with a knee problem, and Heurelho Gomes is likely to remain sidelined with a back injury.

Prediction
Liverpool’s recent form surely makes them favourites for this Europa League decider, with both clubs looking to secure fifth place with a victory at Anfield. Tottenham fans will be wishing for this season to end quickly, having seen their side only win once in the league since February, and I can’t picture that record improving on Sunday.

Liverpool 2-1 Tottenham

15.05. (Sun) 17:00 Arsenal - Aston Villa

DID YOU KNOW?

* Don't expect this one to be settled early doors. There have been 90th minute goals in four of the last six meetings between the two.

* Who said Arsenal were dodgy at the back? The Gunners have only let in two goals in the last nine games at the Emirates.

* Aston Villa have forfeited 26 points from winning positions this season, a Premier League high.

* The Emirates is the only stadium in the Premier League that has yet to see a goal scored from outside the box this term.

* 57 per cent of the goals Arsenal have conceded this season have come from set-pieces, the worst record in the division.

* Robin van Persie has hit the back of the net once every 99 minutes this Premier League term - a record bettered by no-one else scoring more than five league goals.

PROBABLE LINE-UPS

Arsenal (4-2-3-1)
Sczeszny; Sagna, Djourou, Vermaelen, Clichy; Song, Wilshere; Walcott, Ramsey, Arshavin; Van Persie.

Things are looking bleak for both Cesc Fabrgeas and Samir Nasri - both of whom are set to face late fitness tests. The positive comes in the possible return of Thomas Vermaelen, who has been sidelined with Achilles problems since August, with Andrey Arshavin - replaced at half-time against Stoke - probably likely to have another chance in the starting XI.

Aston Villa (4-4-2)
Friedel; L Young, Dunne, Collins, Walker; Petrov, Reo-Coker, Downing, A Young; Bent, Agbonlahor.

The visitors have almost a full squad to select from, with Jean Makoun the only absentee. Gary McAllister will contnue to deputise for Gerard Houllier on the touchline, while Nigel Reo-Coker looks set to partner Stilyan Petrov in the middle of the park.

Prediction
The Gunners should prove too strong on their home turf for a team who surely just want the season to be over. Arsenal have been tight at the back in their own back yard but I think Villa's wide men will cause them trouble, though not enough to prevent Arsene Wenger's side from winning the contest.

Arsenal 2-1 Aston Villa

* Luigi Del Neri's men are unbeaten in their last eight matches.

* Juve have picked up three draws in their past four games.

* The Bianconeri have settled for seven draws this season after taking the lead.

Parma have never beaten Juve three times in a row but will accomplish the feat on Sunday with a slim win at the Ennio Tardini.
Parma 2-1 Juventus

* Roma are unbeaten in their last five matches away from the Olimpico.

* The Giallorossi have scored 10 goals in their last five road matches

* The capital club have conceded 32 goals on their road travels.

* Francesco Totti has only one goal in his last five encounters against Catania.

PROBABLE LINE-UPS

Catania (4-3-3)
Andujar; Alvarez, Silvestre, Spolli, Capuano; Ricchuiti, Carboni, Ledesma; Schelotto, Bergessio, Gomez

Diego Simeone has no suspensions to deal with but will be without the services of Giuseppe Bellusci, Cristian Llama and Fabio Sciacca on Sunday afternoon.

Roma (4-3-2-1)
Doni; Cassetti, Burdisso, Juan, Riise; Taddei, Greco, Simplicio; Totti, Vucinic; Borriello

Matteo Brighi will miss the encounter after fracturing his fibula against Milan last weekend while Simone Perrotta and Daniele De Rossi are suspended. David Pizarro is doubtful for the must-win match on Sunday after picking up a knock midweek against Inter.

Prediction
This is a must win for Roma if they hope to keep their Champions League aspirations alive but Catania won't roll over for the capital city club and will fight tooth and nail for a score draw.
Catania 2-2 Roma

15.05. (Sun) 14:30 Ajax - Twente

DID YOU KNOW?

* Both of these sides also met in the KNVB Beker final last week. Marc Janko netted the winner for Twente in the closing stages of extra-time.

* Siem de Jong of Ajax will come up against his brother Luuk in Twente colours.

* Ajax have conceded just 29 Eredivisie goals this season and have the best defensive record of all clubs from the Dutch top tier.

* The Godenzonen last won the Eredivisie in 2004 when they beat PSV to the penalty.

* Mounir el Hamdaoui is Ajax's leading goalscorer in the league with 13 goals.

* The Amsterdam side have used 31 different players so far this season.

* Twente have lost only four league games so far in the 2010-11 campaign.

* The Tukkers will clinch their first double in history if they get at least a draw on Sunday.

* The Enschede side have so far used 29 different players this league campaign.

* Marc Janko is Twente's leading goalscorers in the league with 14 goals.

* Young winger Nacer Chadli is the Twente player with the most league appearances this term. The attacker has played 32 games.

PROBABLE LINE-UPS

Ajax (4-3-3)
Vermeer; Van der Wiel, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Boilesen; De Zeeuw, Eriksen, Anita; Sulejmani, S. De Jong, Ebecilio.

Frank de Boer will have to make do without the services of first choice goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg in De Kuip, but has a more than capable back-up available in Kenneth Vermeer. Swedish midfielder Rasmus Lindgren and tricky attacker Mounir el Hamdaoui will also miss the game. Defenders Gregory van der Wiel and Toby Alderweireld have both recovered in time from minor knocks.

Twente (4-3-3)
Boschker; Rosales, Wisgerhof, Douglas, Buysse; Landzaat, Brama, Janssen; Ruiz, L. De Jong, Chadli.

Head coach Michel Preud'homme doesn't have too many injury worries and will be able to field what can be considered to be his best XI. Young full-back Nicky Kuiper and USA international Oguchi Onyewu are probably the most notable absentees. Right-back Roberto Rosales missed last week's KNVB Beker final, but is expected to feature on Sunday.

Prediction
Ajax desperately need the full three points on Sunday if they are to clinch the league title, but the Amsterdam side face a tough task to break through the Twente defence. The Tukkers are one of the few Eredivisie teams that are capable of playing for a draw if that is what is needed and head coach Michel Preud'homme will make sure his side is well organized at the back.

Ajax 0-0 Twente

Abbiati; Abate, Nesta, Thiago Silva, Zambrotta; Gattuso, Van Bommel, Ambrosini; Seedorf; Robinho, Ibrahimovic

Kevin-Prince Boateng will be the only first-team regular to miss the match as he is suspended. Andrea Pirlo could be making his San Siro swansong as speculation of a summer switch to Juventus heats up.

Cagliari (4-3-2-1)
Agazzi; Canini, Ariaudo, Astori, Agostini; Biondini, Nainggolan, Lazarri; Cossu; Missiroli, Acquafresca

Cagliari coach Roberto Donadoni will have the luxury of choosing from a full-strength squad as he returns to his old stomping ground on Saturday.

There will certainly be a carnival-style atmosphere at San Siro on Saturday and Milan will reward their supporters with one more home victory.

* Rudi Garcia's men made it to the final by comfortably beating amateur side Forbach, Wasquehal. They needed extra-time and penalties to dispose of Nantes and Lorient, before beating Nice 2-0 in the semi-final.

* The Dogues can also make it one half of a memorable double on Saturday, as they are also top of Ligue 1 , four points ahead of nearest challengers Marseille with only three games to go.

PROBABLE LINE-UPS

Paris Saint Germain (4-3-3)
Coupet; Ceara, Sakho, Camara, Armand; Makelele, Bodmer, Chantome; Nene, Erding, Hoarau

PSG coach Antoine Koumbouare has announced that defenders Marcos Ceara and Sylvian Armand have been passed fit to play in the cup final. Armand, who was struggling with his left knee, and Ceara (hip), have had their fears alleviated and will now play a part in Les Parisien's quest to successfully defend their trophy. Peguy Luyindula (ankle) remains an absentee whilst Christophe Jallet is suspended.

Lille OSC (4-3-3)
Landreau; Beria, Rami, Debuchy, Rozehnal; Cabaye, Chedjou, Mavuba; Hazard, Sow, Gervinho

Lille midfielder Florent Balmont over-exerted himself in the defeat of Saint Etienne in midweek and could find himself out of contention for the final. Fellow defender Adil Rami is also uncertain, but faces a late fitness test on Friday to ascertain his position. Gervinho and Ludovic Obraniak, who were suspended for their last league match, return to the side.

Prediction

Paris Saint Germain 1-1 Lille Metropole

* The Rossoblu have picked up nine points in their last four league matches.

* Davide Ballardini's men have scored 14 matches away from home this season.

* Genoa are winless in their last five matches on the road.

PROBABLE LINE-UPS

Lazio (4-2-3-1)
Muslera; Lichtsteiner, Biava, Stendardo, Scaloni; Ledesma, Matuzalem; Mauri, Hernanes, Sculli; Zarate

Edy Reja will be without the services of influential first team players Andre Dias, Cristian Brocchi and Libor Kozak, who are all suspended. Mobido Diakite is still nursing an injury and will also miss Saturday's encounter.

Genoa (4-4-2)
