Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin continues to turn down talks of Champions League qualification but the reveling truth is that the Bianconeri do genuinely have a chance of garnering a place in the top-four in Serie A at the end of the season.
Last weekend's 3-0 win against Cesena away from home saw the Udine-based side pick up their five league victory on the road and lift themselves to fifth in the league standings on 43 points, just two behind Lazio, who are fourth and occupy the final Champions League slot at the moment.
Udinese have a formidable record at home too and will be expected to gain maximum points against Brescia. The Zebrette will be inspired by the result of the reverse fixture in October – they triumphed 1-0 in Brescia.
The Struggle Continues
Brescia will travel to Udine this weekend on the back of a 2-0 home defeat to Lazio. The Rondinelle went into last weekend's encounter with the Roman side with a 2-0 win against Bari and were expected to get something, but their inability to carve out anything at home means that they will start Week 26 action in Serie A third from bottom with 22 points from 25 matches.
Brescia have a wretched form on the road too as they have won just one out of a possible 12 away matches and are expected to go down in Udine too.
