LAST MEETING
November 21, 2006: CSKA Moscow 0-2 Porto
Porto staged a victory in Moscow in this Group G fixture in the Champions League in 2006-07 that helped them progress to the round of 16. The Portuguese giants completely dominated the match and went ahead as early as the second minute when Ricardo Quaresma found the target from close range. Then a minute after the hour-mark Lucho Gonzalez secured all three points with his side's second.
PROBABLE LINE-UPS
CSKA Moscow: Akinfeev; Schennikov, Ignashevich, Berezutsky, Nababkin; Aldonin, Mamaev; Honda, Dzagoev; Doumbia, Love
Porto: Helton; Sapunaru, Rolando, Otamendi, Fucile; Fernando; Belluschi, Moutinho; Hulk, Falcao, Varela
Prediction
CSKA will be gunning for a first leg advantage at home but they have to keep in mind Porto's record and imperious form this season. For a foreign team winning in Russia is never easy and Porto could do well to go to Moscow with an ambition to draw rather than to win. However, a narrow victory for CSKA could be the final outcome.
CSKA 2-1 Porto
