Sevilla defeated the Yellow Submarine 3-0 in the second leg of the Copa del Rey quarter-finals to advance to the last four 6-3 on aggregate. Renato scored after just seven minutes, but quickfire goals from Frederic Kanoute and Alexis five minutes into the second half allowed the Andaluz outfit to seal a comfortable win.
