Wayne Rooney is likely to be sidelined for the next two weeks with an ankle injury, while Javier Hernandez limped off during the match versus Stoke on Saturday, seemingly suffering a dead leg, and is considered a major doubt. Nemanja Vidic remains sidelined.

The Swiss side have almost a full squad to choose from but will be without central midfielder Benjamin Huggel who was sent off in the win over Otelul Galati, and star winger Xherdan Shaqiri, who is suspended. Former West Ham defender Radoslav Kovac is expected to start.
