Ligue 1 Opta Facts - 15-16 October
Auxerre v Lille
• Auxerre have beaten Lille 30 times in L1, which is their highest tally against an opponent in the Championnat.
• Lille have lost 20 times in 28 trips to the Stade Abbé-Deschamps in L1, winning only four times.
• Auxerre have only lost one of their last 15 home games in L1; a 1-0 defeat to Brest last May; drawing eight times and winning six matches.
• Auxerre are unbeaten in their last eight matches, currently the longest run in L1 along with PSG.
• Lille and PSG are the only teams that are unbeaten away from home in L1 this season.
• All of Lille's seven away goals in L1 this season have come in the second half of matches.
• Auxerre have scored a league-high 11 goals at home this season.
• Alain Traore has netted six goals in his last six league appearances at the Abbé-Deschamps stadium.
Brest v Caen
• Caen have won both of their games against Brest in 2011, scoring three goals on both occasions (3-1 in L1 on the 15th of January, and 3-2 in the League Cup on the 31st of August).
• Nolan Roux has scored four goals in three competitive appearances against Caen, amongst them a brace in the league cup this season.
• None of the six encounters between Brest and Caen in L1 have ended as draws (Brest winning four times and Caen twice).
• A red card has been shown in each of the last three encounters between these teams.
• The last time Brest failed to win a single match after nine games in L1 was in the 1979/80 season when the club was relegated at the end of the campaign, finishing last.
• Brest have recorded seven draws after nine match days in L1, this has not happened since Lille in the 2007/08 season.

Evian TG v Saint-Etienne
• This will be the first official encounter between these two teams.
• Both ETG and St Etienne have gone seven matches in L1 without winning, only Brest and Nancy are currently on worse runs.
• ETG's only victory in the top flight was on the 14th of August against Nice at the Parc des Sports stadium.
• St Etienne have drawn their last three games in L1 by the same scoreline (1-1), on each of these occasions their opposition opened the scoring.
• St Etienne have not taken the lead in their last four L1 matches; currently the longest run in the top flight.
• St Etienne have conceded the most goals in the first quarter of an hour of L1 matches this season (four).
• St Etienne have won three of their last four matches against promoted opposition.
• All of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's three goals in L1 this season have come away from home. Eight of his nine goals in the top flight have also been on the road.
Lyon v Nancy
• Nancy have lost each of their last ten visits to the Stade Gerland in L1. ASNL have not won at Lyon's patch in L1 for 20 years (1-0 on the 2nd of March 1991).
• Lyon are unbeaten in their last 12 matches against Nancy in L1, registering 11 wins and a draw.
• Lyon are the only team in L1 to have won all the matches in which they have scored first (four out of four).
• Along with Brest, Nancy are the only team that have yet to win a single game in L1 this season.
• The last time Nancy did not win a single match in L1 after nine match days was back in 1996/97 when they were relegated at the end of the season.
• Lyon are unbeaten in their last 19 home games this season (13 wins, 6 draws) which is the longest current run in the league. St Etienne were the last visiting team to win at the Stade Gerland in L1, on the 25th of September 2010.

Montpellier v Dijon
• Dijon have won none of their six trips to Montpellier (four defeats and two draws).

Nice v Bordeaux
• Bordeaux have not won any of their last five matches away to Nice in L1; registering two defeats and three draws. Their last victory at the Ray Stadium was back on the 5th of November 2005 (1-0).
• Nice have not kept a clean sheet in any of their last six encounters with Bordeaux in L1.
• The last time Bordeaux registered so few victories after nine L1 match days was in 1972/73 when they had none.
• Bordeaux have won none of the four L1 matches in which they have opened the scoring this season.
• Bordeaux have only won one of their last 10 away matches in L1 (a 2-1 victory over Valenciennes on the 27 of August).

Toulouse v Marseille
• Six of the last seven L1 matches between Marseille and Toulouse have finished as draws.
• Didier Deschamps is unbeaten as a L1 manager against Toulouse (with Monaco and Marseille) managing three wins and five draws.
• None of the last nine competitive encounters between Toulouse and Marseille have ended as a home win.
• Marseille are unbeaten in their last five trips to Toulouse in all competitions (two wins and three draws).
• Toulouse have kept the most clean sheets in L1 this season (four).
• Marseille are the only team in Europe to have won more Champions League matches (qualifiers excluded) this season than domestic league matches.
• Toulouse have won five of their last seven home matches in the Championnat.

Ajaccio v PSG
• PSG have never won away to Ajaccio in L1 (two defeats and three draws). The François Coty stadium is the L1 ground where the Parisians have played the most matches without ever winning.
• Bonaventure Kalou's goal in a 1-1 draw on the 17th of December 2005 is the only one PSG have scored in their five trips to Ajaccio in the top flight.
• PSG have only won 20% of their matches against Ajaccio in L1 (two wins, five draws and three defeats) which is their worst ratio amongst opponents they have faced at least 10 times in the top flight.
• The last time Ajaccio conceded as many goals (17) at this stage of a L1 season was in 1972/73.
• PSG are currently on a run of eight matches without defeat (six victories and two draws) currently the best sequence in L1, along with Auxerre. The Parisians have also won their last three L1 matches.
• PSG and Lille are the only teams in L1 that have yet to be beaten away from home.
• Ajaccio are the only team in L1 that have yet to keep a clean sheet this season.
• PSG are the only team who have yet to score in the opening 30 minutes of a top L1 match this season.

Valenciennes v Sochaux
• Since last season Valenciennes have only won ten of the 23 L1 matches in which they have opened the scoring.
• Sochaux are the only team to have scored in all of their games in the Championnat this season.
• Sochaux have conceded a league-high 19 goals this season.
• The last time Sochaux conceded as many goals at this stage of the season was in 1998/99, when they were relegated at the end of the campaign
• Valenciennes have lost just one of their last 15 matches at home in L1, their only defeat coming against Bordeaux on the 27th of August.
• Sochaux have conceded 10 goals in their last five away matches in L1.
• Sochaux have only won one of their last 10 matches away to Valenciennes in L1 (five draws and four defeats) their last victory at Valenciennes was in April 1979.
• Valenciennes suffered more defeats than any other side in L1 this term (five).
• Modibo Maiga has scored four of Sochaux's last five L1 goals.

Rennes v Lorient
• Lorient were the only unbeaten team in last season's L1 Brittany derbies, managing a draw (0-0) and a victory against Brest (2-1) as well as two victories over Rennes (2-0 and 2-1).
• Lorient have never kept a clean sheet in their seven trips away to Rennes in the top flight.
• Rennes have only won one of their last 10 L1 home matches Stadium, registering three defeats and six draws.
• Along with Auxerre, Rennes and Lorient are the only teams that have yet to be shown a red card in L1 this season.
• Rennes have the most prolific attack in L1 this season, having scored 18 goals, their best tally at this stage of the season since 1963/64.
• Lorient, along with PSG, have the best defence in L1 this season (seven goals conceded after nine match days).
