Porto coach Vitor Pereira has included right-back Alvaro Pereira, in his plans for the match after the Uruguayan recovered from tendinitis, while centre-back Eliaquim Mangala has been left out of the squad. Cristian Rodriguez has also made the squad after missing the club's weekend defeat to Academica Coimbra in the Portuguese Cup.
Shakhtar boss Mircea Lucescu will be without the services of captain Darijo Srna, who is serving a one-match ban, and vice-captain Dmytro Chyrgynskiy, currently recovering from a thigh muscle tear.
