Bahrain coach Peter Taylor has stated his squad are looking for a comfortable win over Indonesia to keep their World Cup dream alive, although they're relying on the Iran-Qatar result. In order to reach that target, the English coach would set up an attacking formation. Bahrain have no major problems for the squad selections although midfielder Hussain Ali Baba and Abdulla Al Hazza will be absent, however the three key players Abdullah Omar, Faouzi Aaish, and Abdulwahab Ali are ready to face Indonesia.
Meanwhile in Indonesia's preparation, caretaker coach Aji Santoso faces selection difficulties following Fifa's announcement which stated rebel Indonesian Super League players are ineligible for an international match and had to be replaced by players from the Indonesian Premier League. By this situation, several debutants and youngsters are ready to fight for the national pride such as Hengky Ardiles, Rendi Irawan, and Diego Michiels. Indonesian superstar Irfan Bachdim also returns to the squad after his three-month suspension.
