Alexis Sanchez is a doubt for Barcelona's 219th Clasico meeting with Real Madrid, after the Chilean picked up a leg injury in the midweek Champions League defeat at Chelsea.

Pep Guardiola has no other injury concerns, with long-term absentees David Villa, Andreu Fontas and Eric Abidal the only players unavailable.

Gerard Pique should make a return to the Blaugrana defence, with Carles Puyol filling in at left-back in place of the versatile Adriano.

Real Madrid could recall Marcelo to the starting line-up, while it remains to be seen whether his compatriot Kaka - dropped to the bench in the last two matches - regains his place in the team.

Xabi Alonso is available after serving a one-match domestic ban, but Ricardo Carvalho (thigh) and Lassana Diarra (hamstring) are unlikely to be involved.

DID YOU KNOW?

  • Barcelona are on a 11-game winning streak in La Liga, outscoring their opponents 33-8 in those matches.
  • The Catalans have scored 167 goals in all competitions this term - 15 more than in the whole of last season.
  • Barca's current unbeaten streak of 54 at home in all competitions is the second longest in club history. The club record is 73 and dates back to 1973-76.
  • Lionel Messi (pictured right) has scored 29 goals in his last 16 appearances for club and country.
  • Real Madrid are on an 18-match unbeaten run in La Liga (W15, D3). Their last league defeat came on December 10, when they lost 3-1 to Barcelona.
  •  Los Blancos are yet to register a Liga victory over their arch rivals since Pep Guardiola became Barca coach in 2008 (D1, L6).
  • In 14 games against Guardiola's side in all competitions, Madrid's record is W1, D4, L9, with the solitary victory coming in last season's Copa del Rey final.
  • If they score on Saturday, Madrid will surpass their own record of 107 goals netted in a single La Liga campaign set under John Toshack in 1989-90.

Prediction
While logic suggests Jose Mourinho will employ attrition tactics at Camp Nou, it is questionable if his players possess the defensive concentration and energy needed to carry out the plan. Real can hurt them, but Barca's greater coherence and attacking verve should see them come out on top again.

Barton, Derry, Diakite, Taarabt
Zamora, Cisse
TOTTENHAM

Friedel
Walker, Gallas, Kaboul, Assou-Ekotto

Lennon, Parker, Modric, Bale
Adebayor, Saha

QPR boss Mark Hughes is likely to hand Djibril Cisse a starting place following his return from a four-game ban. Jamie Mackie could well be the player to make way for the former Lazio striker as Hughes looks for a vital win. This may be the only change from the side that narrowly lost to West Brom.

This will mean that the club’s top scorer Heidar Helguson, who recently made his comeback from injury, will again have to settle for a place on the bench. Long-term injury victims Kieron Dyer (foot) and Alejandro Faurlin (knee) are still out.

As for the visitors, Harry Redknapp could make a number of changes to the side that lost 5-1 to Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final. Brad Friedel is set to take Carlo Cudicini’s place in goal, while in front of him Younes Kaboul looks poised to return, with either Ledley King or William Gallas dropping out.

Scott Parker should recover from a hamstring injury picked up against Chelsea and start the game. There could be a change up front with the Spurs boss possibly looking to play two out-and-out strikers. This would mean Rafael van der Vaart dropping to the bench with Louis Saha coming in. Michael Dawson and Tom Huddlestone remain sidelined.

DID YOU KNOW?

  • QPR have won all of their last three matches at Loftus Road - a 3-2 win over Liverpool, a 2-1 victory over Arsenal and a 3-0 triumph against Swansea City.
  • Bobby Zamora (pictured right) failed to score in 16 Premier League appearances during his spell at Tottenham in the 2003-04 season. He has netted only two league goals since joining the Hoops from Fulham in January.
  • Of the previous nine Premier League meetings between the two teams, QPR have won three, Spurs four and there has been two draws.
  • The previous meeting this season at White Hart Lane finished in a 3-1 win to Harry Redknapp’s side. Gareth Bale grabbed two with Rafael van der Vaart also on the scoresheet. Jay Bothroyd scored QPR’s goal.
  • Tottenham have only won one of their last eight Premier League matches - a 3-1 home win against Swansea City.
  • Emmanuel Adebayor is currently Tottenham’s top scorer with 13 goals from his 29 league appearances. He is also the only player apart from Robin van Persie to hit double figures for both goals and assists this season in the Premier League.
  • The hosts have not beaten Redknapp's side since 1995, a 2-1 victory at home.
  • Spurs have failed to score in their last three away games, and haven't won on the road this calendar year. Their last victory came at Carrow Road, beating Norwich City 2-0 on December 27.

Prediction
Both clubs need the win for completely different reasons - QPR desperately need the three points as they look to secure their Premier League status, whereas Spurs need to boost their hopes of finishing in a Champions League spot. The hosts have won their last three home games against Liverpool, Arsenal and Swansea but could have to settle for a draw against their London rivals, with both teams getting on the scoresheet.

BORUSSIA MONCHENGLADBACH

 Herrmann, Nordtveit, Jantschke, Arango
 Reus, Hanke

Julian Koch is the only absentee for Borussia Dortmund ahead of the clash with Lucien Favre's men. Germany international Mario Gotze is still working his way back to full fitness, but might play a role in the match at the Signal Iduna Park.

Robert Lewandowski is set to spearhead the attack, supported by an attacking trident of Jakub 'Kuba' Blaszczykowski, Shinji Kagawa and Kevin Grosskreutz.

Lucien Favre will have a near full-strength squad to choose from for Saturday's game, but there is a major question mark over the aviailability of star attacker Marco Reus, who picked up a knock on Friday. There is one definite absentee from the trainer's first choice XI, as Roman Neustadter is certain to miss the clash with an injury. Thorben Marx and Mathew Leckie are also out with knocks, while Igor de Camargo is suffering from flu and is rated doubtful.

DID YOU KNOW?

  • Borussia Monchengladbach have secured European football for next season. Their last international game was back in October 1996 against Monaco.
  • The Foals' trainer, Lucien Favre, has never lost at the Signal Iduna Park.
  • Juan Arango is the only player in the league, goalkeepers aside, to have played every minute of every Bundesliga game this season.
  • Borussia Dortmund have lost to Gladbach only once in their last eight matches.
  • BVB are yet to be defeated in the league this season with Sebastian Kehl in the starting XI.
  • Marco Reus is set to leave Gladbach for Dortmund in the summer transfer window.

Prediction
Borussia Dortmund have the chance to seal the title on Saturday, and will be fired up to do just that. Borussia Monchengladbach will put up a fight, but BVB are likely to come on top in the heated battle at the Signal Iduna Park.

Dortmund 2-0 Mönchengladbach

Thomas Schaaf's side have slid down the table in recent weeks with a series of disappointing results making qualifying for Europe only a distant possibility with just three games remaining.

Going into the fixture Werder possess a number of absentees with the suspensions of Clemens Fritz, Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Sebastian Boenisch in defence as well as Philipp Bargfrede (Achilles), Mehmet Ekici (groin) and Marko Marin all on the sidelines through injury.

Should Borussia Dortmund defeat Borussia Monchengladbach this weekend they will be crowned Bundesliga champions so Jupp Heynckes is likely to rest as many key players as possible ahead of the second leg of their Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid.

With Holger Badstuber suspended, and Breno and Daniel Van Buyten still recovering from suspension, Anatoliy Tymoshchuk will likely plug the gap at centre-back.

No fewer than seven first-team players could be rested by the Bayern coach including Philipp Lahm, David Alaba, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Toni Kroos, Arjen Robben, Franck Ribery and Mario Gomez. Takashi Usami could therefore make his first start for the Bavarians while Nils Petersen could return to the fold for his first appearance since the 2-0 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen in March.

DID YOU KNOW?

  • Werder Bremen have suffered a dramatic decline in their form since the winter break, winning just two games in 13 Bundesliga fixtures since the turn of the year.
  • The hosts have also failed to win a game in their last six outings. Three defeats and three draws have seen the Weserstadion outfit drop out of the European places and into eighth position.
  • Werder last beat Bayern Munich at home back in the 2006/07 season. Brazilian playmaker Diego was among the scorers in a 3-1 victory.
  • Bayern Munich's triumph over Real Madrid at the Allianz Arena in midweek was their first victory since being beaten by Borussia Dortmund on April 11.
  • The Bavarians came out on top in the reverse of this fixture earlier this season. Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery netted twice each in a 4-1 win.
  • Mario Gomez needs three goals from his side's remaining three fixtures to equal his 28-goal haul from last season.

Prediction
Bayern will try to play as much of the game as possible without a large number of first-team players which could well lead to a fairly disjointed performance. Werder will also be missing some key players for the match, weakening their defence and midfield. It may take Jupp Heynckes' second-string line-up a while to get going but they should still have enough quality to see of the hosts, though it will be a close game.

Werder Bremen 0-1 Bayern

They may have the more demanding schedule but Chelsea arrive with a far lighter injury list than their hosts.

The Gunners have lost Mikel Arteta for the rest of the season with an ankle injury and he joins long-term absentees Per Mertesacker (ankle), Jack Wilshere (ankle) and Emmanuel Frimpong (knee).

There is better news for Francis Coquelin and Abou Diaby who are both expected to shake off knocks to make themselves available for the London derby, but Yossi Benayoun is ineligible because of his loan deal from the Blues.

Chelsea will have to get by without Branislav Ivanovic who will finish his three-game suspension after this clash.

On the injury front, David Luiz is expected to miss another week with a hamstring injury sustained in the FA Cup semi-final win over Tottenham. Ryan Bertrand (calf) and Oriel Romeu (illness) could both make the matchday squad.

DID YOU KNOW?

  • Arsenal have won 12, drawn two and lost two of their last 16 games at the Emirates.
  • The Gunners will be without Mikel Arteta for the remainder of the season and have not won a Premier League game without him this season.
  • Robin van Persie has scored against 17 of the 19 Premier League clubs this campaign.
  • The Dutch striker notched a hat-trick in the 5-3 reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge, where Arsenal became the first side since Liverpool in 1996 to put five past Chelsea.
  • Chelsea have only won three of their last 19 trips to Arsenal but those have all come in their last six visits.
  • The Blues have conceded more goals (18) in the final 15 minutes than any other club in the Premier League.
  • Didier Drogba (right) has scored eight Premier League goals against the Gunners.
  • Chelsea have scored and conceded 95% of their goals from inside the box - the highest percentage in the league.

Prediction
Chelsea are flying at the moment, and with Arsenal's recent blip in form it could be an away win this weekend.
