Hamilton v Hearts
  • Hamilton have won their last two home matches against the Jambos, scoring exactly two goals on both occasions.
  • Simon Mensing has scored three goals in these two games.
  • The Accies are unbeaten in eight matches at home in the SPL, their longest-ever run in the competition.
  • Hearts have kept only one clean sheet in their last 10 away league games.
  • Six of the Jambos' last nine goals have come from crosses.


St Johnstone v Aberdeen
  • The Saints have never won their first home game of the season in the SPL (five matches).
  • St Johnstone are unbeaten in their last three meetings with the Dons, having lost the previous four.
  • The Saints scored more goals at home last season than any non-Old Firm SPL side.
  • St Johnstone are without a win in their last four league matches at McDiarmid Park.
  • Aberdeen scored as many penalties in their opening match of the season (three) as they did in the whole of 2009/10.
  • The Dons have now won back-to-back league matches, the last time they won three in a row was in December 2008.



Hibernian v Rangers
  • Hibs have won their opening home game in each of the last three seasons, bagging nine goals.
  • Hibs are without a win in their last 11 SPL meetings with Rangers.
  • Four of the Hibees' six goals against Old Firm sides last season came from Anthony Stokes.
  • Hibernian lost their last four league games at home in 2009/10.
  • The ‘Gers have scored in all but one of their last 27 league matches.
  • Rangers have opened the scoring before the 20th minute in four of their last five league games.



Celtic v St Mirren
  • Celtic have never lost their opening home game in the SPL, winning 11 of their 12.
  • The Bhoys lost their last meeting with St Mirren 4-0, their biggest-ever defeat to a non-Old Firm side in the SPL.
  • However Celtic have won all nine league games since this reversal.
  • St Mirren have not won at Celtic Park since the 1989/90 campaign.
  • The Hoops have lost just one of their last 35 games at Parkhead in the SPL.
  • St Mirren have won none of their last 15 league away games, though have drawn the last three.


Dundee United v Inverness CT
  • Dundee United have scored in each of their opening home games of the season since 1999.
  • The Terrors have won only one of their last four games at home to Caley Thistle in the SPL, and only two of the last eight.
  • Inverness have never failed to score at Tannadice in the SPL (nine matches), finding the net exactly once on eight occasions.
  • United have lost their last three league games at Tannadice, and have found the net only once in their last four games there.
  • In their last season in the SPL (08/09) Caley Thistle picked up more points on the road (20) than at home (17).



Kilmarnock v Motherwell
  • Killie have won their opening home game in each of the last four seasons, and have scored in all but one of these since the formation of the SPL.
  • Motherwell won all three meetings with Kilmarnock last season.
  • Killie have found the net just once in their last four matches at home to the Steelmen.
  • Just one of Killie's last five league wins against Motherwell has come at Rugby Park.
  • Kilmarnock have lost 10 of their last 13 SPL matches.
  • Motherwell have taken all three points in only one of their last nine games in the competition.
  • The Steelmens' last three SPL matches have averaged 7.7 goals per game.
