Aston Villa v Blackburn Rovers

  • There have been more draws at Villa Park (111) than at any other team in Premier League history.
  • Aston Villa have been drawn against Blackburn in both the FA Cup and the League Cup in each of the last two seasons, with Villa progressing on all four occasions. In contrast, Blackburn have won all three Premier League meetings in the last two seasons.
  • Aston Villa have kept one clean sheet in their last 17 Premier League matches.
  • Rovers have gone 13 away games in the Premier League without keeping a clean sheet.
  • Blackburn have lost six of their last seven Premier League away games, conceding 23 goals in those seven games.
  • Darren Bent has scored 46 goals in the Premier League since the start of the 2008/09 season, no player has netted more in this period.
Everton v Sunderland
  • Tim Cahill has scored five goals in nine Premier League appearances against Sunderland.
