Hoffenheim vs Schalke 04
  • The Bundesliga head-to-head record between these two teams is even (one win each and two draws). The last two games in Hoffenheim have ended in draws (1-1, 0-0).
  • Hoffenheim have played six times on a Friday in the BL and are yet to win (two draws, four defeats).
  • After the opening two games, Hoffenheim have the best chance conversion rate (35.7%) and the best shooting accuracy (71.4%) in the league.
  • Schalke scored 23 of their 53 goals from set pieces last season - the third-most in the league. So far this season, their two goals have also come from set pieces.

Hannover vs Bayer Leverkusen
  • Hannover have won only four of their 22 league matches with Leverkusen (seven draws, 11 defeats), and only two of their 11 league games at home against Leverkusen (six draws, three losses).
  • Hannover have scored only one goal in their last six meetings with Leverkusen - that goal was good enough for a 1-0 win in February 2009 (one draw, four defeats).

Bayern Munich vs Werder Bremen
  • Bayern's last home victory over Werder dates back almost five years to November 2005, when Claudio Pizarro scored a goal for Bayern and Miroslav Klose bagged one for Werder. Bayern ended up winning 3-1.
  • This is the 99th competitive match between FC Bayern Munich and Werder Bremen (46 Bayern victories, 25 draws, 27 Bremen victories). The 100th meeting will also take place very soon, with the two clubs clashing in the DFB-Cup on October 26th.
  • Werder Bremen defeated Bayern 5-2 in their Oktoberfest opening game of 2008. This year, Munich's famous Oktoberfest only starts a week after they play Bremen. A good omen for Werder?
  • FC Bayern were the league's strongest home team in 2009/10 while Bremen were its best away team.
  • Bayern had 72% of the possession at Kaiserlautern and 68% against Wolfsburg - no team has registered better figures this season.


Mainz vs Kaiserslautern
