Sporting Gijon v Mallorca
  • These two sides have not shared a draw in any of their last eight league meetings (four wins to each team in the process).
  • These two sides have never shared a goalless draw in their 20 top-flight meetings.
  • Sporting Gijon are without a win in their last 11 games in La Liga (six defeats, including those in the last two fixtures, and five draws).
  • Sporting have netted only three goals in their last nine league fixtures, and failed to score in their last two between this and last season.
  • Despite failing to score against Atletico Madrid, Sporting have attempted the most shots (excl. blocked) on match-day 1 of the season (19).
  • Mallorca have conceded exactly one goal in each of their last four league fixtures on the road.


Athletic de Bilbao v Atletico de Madrid
  • These two sides have not shared a draw in any of their last nine league meetings - the Colchoneros lead by six wins to three over this period.
  • Atletico have had the better in three of their last four trips to the San Mames in La Liga, but the hosts managed to win the last meeting by 1-0.
  • Diego Forlan has scored 11 goals against Athletic Bilbao in La Liga, more than against any other club in the Spanish top flight.
  • Away from home, Atletico Madrid are without a win in their last 10 league games (since their 4-0 win at Valladolid back in January): seven defeats and three draws in the process.

  • Los Che are unbeaten at home in 2010 in La Liga (12 games): they have won 11 times and shared the points just once, keeping nine clean sheets in the process.

Sevilla v Deportivo de La Coruña
  • Sevilla and Deportivo have met 70 times so far in La Liga: the Galicians lead by 32 wins to 23, with 15 draws completing the record.
  • Sevilla scored 23 goals in their last seven league games, an average of 3.3 goals per game.
  • Los Rojiblancos have not shared the points in their last 11 games in La Liga - winning seven and losing four.
  • The last three league encounters between these two sides have produced just four goals.
  • Depor have never won away from home in 2010, suffering nine defeats (six in a row at the end of last season) and three draws.

Getafe v Levante

  • Espanyol have failed to score in their last five league games against Villarreal.
