Mainz - Borussia Monchengladbach

* Mainz are the worse home side in the Bundesliga in 2011, failing to win any games (two draws and three defeats).
* Die Nullfuenfer have scored their last nine goals in the second-half of matches.
* Under Lucien Favre, Gladbach have conceded only one goal per goal on average. The average was previously 2.5 under former coach Michael Frontzeck.
* Marco Reus has an impressive record versus Mainz, scoring three goals in only 194 minutes versus Thomas Tuchel's men.

TEAM NEWS:

Mainz
Mainz are without the suspended Nikolce Noveski (one-match ban for unsportsmanlike behaviour) and Bo Svensson (five yellow cards). Adam Szalai continues to miss out for the club chasing Europe with a serious cruciate ligament injury.


Borussia Monchengladbach
The Bundesliga's basement club will have to make do without Igor de Camargo who is nursing his way back to fitness from a knee ligament injury. Jean-Sebastien Jaures and Jens Wissing will also miss out with Lucien Favre expected to name the same starting line-up who defeated rivals Koln last Sunday.


Wolfsburg - St Pauli

* Die Woelfe have never beaten St Pauli in the Bundesliga (two draws and one defeat).
* Felix Magath's men have won only one of their last nine games (five draws and three defeats), a 2-1 victory over bottom-club Gladbach.
* St Pauli are in a dreadful run of form, losing seven consecutive games, equalling a club record which was set in the 1996-97 campaign.
* The Hamburg club have only scored in half of their 14 Bundesliga away games this season, they worst record in the league.

TEAM NEWS:

Wolfsburg
Wolfsburg are relatively injury-free with only Dieumerci Mbokani on the physio table with a knee injury. The club will also be without Cicero who is suspended.

St Pauli
The Hamburg club have several players out with injury including Bastian Oczipka, Carlos Zambrano, Carsten Rothenbach and Moritz Volz while Fin Barterls misses out through suspension.


Kaiserslautern - Nurnberg

* Kaiserslautern have won 17 of their last 25 Bundesliga games (three draws, five defeats) but have lost the last two times Nurnberg have visited the Fritz-Walter Stadion.
* FCK are in decent form, losing only one of their last six games in the league (three wins and two draws).
* None of the last 12 meetings between the sides have ended in a draw.
* Nurnberg have won only three of their last 17 away games (six draws, eight defeats) although two have these victories have come in 2011.

TEAM NEWS:

Kaiserslautern
FCK have a few injury woes with Croatian midfielder Ivo Ilicevic out with a muscle strain with Adam Nemec also on the sidelines. Former Wolfsburg defender Jan Simunek is another Kaiserslautern player ruled out through injury.


Nuernberg
Mike Frantz and Albert Bunjaku are both missing through injury for the club while captain Andreas Wolf misses out as he is suspended.


Hamburg - Hannover

* HSV have picked up only one win versus Hannover in the club's last seven meetings (two defeats and four draws.
* Hamburg have scored 13 goals in their last four home games, an average of 3.3 goals a game.
* Hannover have picked up 34 points at home this season, one point more than they picked up in total for the whole of the 2009-10 campaign.
* Didier Ya Konan has score 13 Bundesliga goals so far this season - he is one behind Fredi Bobic who netted 14 in the 2002/03 campaign.

TEAM NEWS:

Hamburg
Michael Oenning cannot call upon Jaroslav Drobny and Romeo Castelen for the meeting with Hannover.Joris Mathijsen. Anis Ben-Hatira is suspended for the encounter after picking up five yellow cards.

Hannover
Die Roten have few injury problems but will be without Leon Andreasen and Christopher Avevor through injury although both will resume training in the next fortnight.


Hoffenheim - Eintracht Frankfurt

* Hoffenheim have scored the last six goals in this fixture.
* 1899 are in a poor run of form, winning only one of their previous eight Bundesliga fixtures (two draws and five defeats).
* Frankfurt have scored only five goals since the turn of 2011, fewer goals than any other team in the league.
* The Hessians have never beaten Hoffenheim in a competitive fixture although the two sides have only met on five occasions (two draws, three defeats).

TEAM NEWS:

Hoffenheim
Mathias Jaissle, Sejad Salihovic and Boris Vukcevic are all out with injuries. Captain Andreas Beck misses out through suspension.

Eintracht Frankfurt
Enitracht have three serious injury concerns with Greek left-back Georgios Tzavelas missing out with a cruciate ligament injury while captain Chris remains on the sidelines along with Bosnian midfielder Zlatan Bajramovic.


Koln - Stuttgart

* Only two sides in the Bundesliga have conceded more goals, Gladbach (64) and Bremen (55) have conceded more than these two teams (54 each)
* The Billygoats are on a seven game winning streak at home, currently the longest record of it's kind in the league and Koln's longest winning streak in 33 years.
* The last time these two teams met at the RhenEnergieStadion, Stuutgart thrashed Koeln 5-1 with Cacau scoring four goals.
* Stuutgart have enjoyed more wins versus Koeln than any other side in the Bundesliga (33).

TEAM NEWS:

Koln
Christopher Schorch and Konstantinos Giannoulis are both still recovering from injuries. Christian Clemens is back down the left-hand side while Adam Matuszczyk and Mato Jajalo will miss out through suspension.

Stuttgart
Ciprian Marica remains a persona non grata at Stuttgart, who also have Philipp Degen and Ermin Bicakcic injured. Timo Gebhart has an ankle knock and will not be risked while Pavel Pogrebnyak is suspended.


Werder Bremen - Schalke

* Bremen have a poor record versus Schalke in recent years with only two victories in their last 12 Bundesliga meetings (seven defeats and three draws).
* Thomas Schaaf's men have drawn all of their last four home games which also happened back in Autumn 1995.
* Schalke have been in good form of late, winning three of their last four games in the league while also defeating Inter 7-3 on aggregate in the Champions League quarter-finals.
* Veteran striker Raul has been in a superb run of form, scoring 6 of die Knappen's last 12 goals in the Bundesliga.

TEAM NEWS:

Werder Bremen
Bremen have a lengthy injury list as they continue their battle against relegation. Die Gruen-Weissen are without Philipp Bargfrede, Naldo, Sebastian Proedl, Daniel Jensen, Denni Avdic, Onur Ayik and Sebastian Boenisch through injury.

Schalke
Die Koenigsblauen also have a depleted squad with Christian Pander, Peer Kluge, Christoph Moritz, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Mario Gavranovic, Tim Hoogland and Levan Kenia all unable to play.


Bayern Munich - Bayer Leverkusen

* Bayern have won nine of their last 10 Bundesliga home games, losing the other game 3-1 to leaders Dortmund.
* Bayern are unbeaten in their last 12 meetings with Leverkusen, winning nine.
* Bayer have not beaten Bayern away in 21 years. Their last victory came in October 1989 at the Olympiastadion where they won 1-0. Since, die Roten have won 18 and drawn five of their 23 meetings at home to Leverkusen.
* The last three meetings between the two teams have ended in 1-1 draws.

TEAM NEWS:

Bayern Munich
Louis van Gaal's men have been dealt a huge blow with the news that Arjen Robben and Holger Badstuber are suspended for the visit of Leverkusen. Bastian Schweinsteiger is also a major injury doubt while Daniel van Buyten and Ivica Olic are definitely ruled out.

Bayer Leverkusen
Die Werkself are nearing a full-fit squad with the only absentee being defender Manuel Friedrich who misses out with a shoulder injury.


Borussia Dortmund - Freiburg

* BVB have won their last three home games against SCF, keeping a clean sheet in each of these games.
* The league leaders have conceded just 18 goals in 29 matches. Ruhr rivals Schalke have the Bundesliga's second-best defensive record, but have allowed 33 goals.
* SCF striker Papiss Demba Cisse is currently the league's top goal-scorer with 20 goals, one more than Bayern's Mario Gomez.
* Freiburg have won only one of their last eight away matches (three draws, four losses), and have only picked up one point from their last four games on the road.

TEAM NEWS:

Borussia Dortmund
The leaders will be without the injured Lucas Barrios. Shinji Kagawa, Sebastian Kehl and Florian Krings for the visit of Freiburg. Robert Lewandowski is expected to be the lone frontman.

Freiburg
Breisgau-Brasilianer have a few injury concerns with Felix Bastians and Simon Pouplin on the sidelines while Czech defender Pavel Krmas is suspended.
