Auxerre - MontpellierMontpellier HSC

  • Montpellier are currently on a five-match winless run, being held to a disappointing 0-0 draw at home to Brest last weekend.
  • Auxerre have prevailed in all but six of their top-flight encounters against Montpellier at home.
TEAM NEWS
Auxerre
AJA have been rocked with the news that Kamel Chafni and Alain Traore picked up knocks  in the last match. The latest setbacks adds to the lengthening injury list which has consumed Benoit Pedretti (groin), defenders Stephane Grichting (thigh) and Jean-Pascal Mignot (thigh) already, creating a selection headache for Jean Fernandez. Delvin Ndinga and Jeremy Berthod are also out.
Montpellier
No fresh worries for Rene Girard in the build up to this clash with Emir Spahic set to return from an eight match ban. John Utaka has recovered from his injury setback as La Paillade seek to end the season on a high.

Caen - RC Lens

  • Caen ran out 4-0 winners away to Nice last weekend to equal the biggest away win of the season. Les Malherbes are still a point clear of the drop zone in 16th.
  • Lens are on a winless run which now stands at four matches, with Les Sang et Or conceding two late goals to hand Lorient a 3-2 win last Saturday.
  • If results go against them, Lens could mathematically be relegated this weekend as they currently stand nine points adrift of safety, with only five games to go.

  • Les Dogues have won the last four previous encounters scoring 13 in the process.
  • Nancy haven't conceded a goal in their last three home league games.
TEAM NEWS

Benjamin Jeannot is once again doubtful as he struggles to shake off a problem picked up two weeks ago. Back up goalkeeper Fouad Rashid is set to take his place on the bench following a knee injury.
Lille
Florent Balmont strained a muscle in his thigh and isn't expected back until the Coupe de France final on May 14 in what is the only injury in the les Dogues camp.
