SPL Opta Facts 18-19 February 2011


Aberdeen v St Johnstone
St Johnstone are unbeaten in their last four league visits to Pittodrie (W3 D1).
Aberdeen have failed to score in their last three SPL matches at home to the Saints.
There have been just two goals scored in the last four league matches at Pittodrie combined: both by Aberdeen in 1-0 wins.
The Dons have conceded only two goals in their last six league games combined, drawing four and winning two of these.
This is only the second time that Aberdeen have kept four consecutive clean sheets at home in the SPL: they have never kept five in a row.
St Johnstone have shipped 12 goals in their last four league games, including eight in the last two.
A 3-2 defeat at Motherwell in their last away game ended a run of six unbeaten on the road for the Saints in the SPL (W4 D2).

Dundee United v St Mirren
United are without a win in their last five league meetings with St Mirren (D4 L1).
Both sides have scored in each of the last seven SPL clashes between Dundee United and the Buddies.
St Mirren have only once before gone unbeaten in six consecutive meetings with the same side in the SPL: vs Falkirk.
Both sides have found the net in each of Dundee United's last eight league games (W3 D3 L2).
St Mirren have failed to score in their last three league matches, drawing the last two 0-0.
The Saints have won only one of their last 11 SPL games (D5 L5).
United have scored the most goals in the last 15 minutes of SPL games this season (12).

Dunfermline v Inverness CT
Dunfermline have never won at home to Inverness in the SPL (D5 L2).
Jonathan Hayes has scored in all three of his games against Dunfermline this season (one in the league, two in the Scottish Cup).
There have been just five goals scored in the last five league games involving Caley Thistle.
The Pars have won only one of their last 13 in the league (D2 L10).
Dunfermline are yet to win at home in the SPL this season, conceding 2.8 goals per game on average on their own turf.
Andy Kirk has scored each of the Pars' last three league goals.

Hibernian v Celtic
Antony Stokes has scored in three of the last four SPL meetings between Hibs and Celtic (four goals total).
Hibs have failed to win any of their last seven league meetings with the Bhoys, losing six.
Celtic have kept a clean sheet on their last five visits to Easter Road in the Scottish top-flight.
Hibs have won just one of their last 18 league games at home in the SPL, their poorest-ever run.
Celtic are on a run of 14 straight league wins, conceding just four goals in this sequence.
The Bhoys have kept six consecutive clean sheets on the road in the SPL, and could become the first side to go seven without conceding in the history of the tournament.
Celtic have scored 14 goals from outside the area in the SPL this season, twice as many as any other side.
Only Inverness (10) have conceded more goals from outside the box than Hibernian (nine) in the SPL this season.
Celtic have scored 13 goals in the opening 15 minutes of SPL games this season, no other side has scored more than six in this period.

Motherwell v Hearts
The Steelmen have won four of their last five at home to Hearts in the SPL.
Motherwell are unbeaten in four in the league (W2 D2).
Motherwell have scored three in each of their last two league games at home: they had scored only seven in total over 10 home games before this this season.
After going unbeaten in five league games, Hearts have won none of their last three (D1 L2).
Only four sides have picked up fewer points on the road in the SPL this season than Hearts (12).
Only Celtic (10) have netted more SPL goals from corners than Hearts (8) this season.

Rangers v Kilmarnock
Earlier this season Killie ended a run of 13 defeats and one draw against Rangers in the league with a 1-0 win at Rugby Park.
The Gers have won 22 of their 25 SPL matches at home to Kilmarnock, losing two.
Rangers have averaged 2.95 goals per game in their last 20 league matches at home to Killie, and have not conceded more than once in any of these.
Kilmarnock have picked up the fewest points on the road in the SPL this season (9).
Rangers are the only side who are still unbeaten at home in the SPL this season (W9 D4).
David Healy has bagged four goals in his seven matches in all competitions in 2012.
The Teddy Bears have netted four in each of their last two league games.
Kilmarnock have won only one of their last 16 SPL away games.
